Не получается сконфигурировать phpMyAdmin 3.1.4

Перепробовал всякие комбинации, но постоянно выводит сообщение "В доступе отказано". Версия mySql - 5.x. Пробую ставить на локалке под Денвер.
phpMyAdmin 2.11.9.5 ставится нормально.
В чём может быть причина отсутствия соединения?

Покажи в своем конфиге строчки, где ты прописываешь логин и пароль к базе ?

Перед "User for advanced features" есть:

$cfg['Servers'][$i]['user'] = 'root';

попробуй зайти в setup и добавитьтам сервер свой

MuXaJIbI41981, пробовал. Примерно тот же файл выходит. Setup, кстати, сильно глючит. Я использовал config.sample.inc.php в качестве образца.
Кстати, если пароль/логин указать неверно, будет выведено соответствующее сообщение, что неверно указан логин/пароль. Иначе, когда всё правильно указано - "В доступе отказано".

Всё дело было в строке:
