Zend Framework Preview 0.1.3
The Zend Framework Preview 0.1.3 has been released! This is primarily a maintenance release and includes dozens of small fixes and enhancements, most of which were suggested by the great community on our mailing list. For all the details, please view the changelog.
This release marks Zend_Search_Lucene's move from the incubator into the standard library, and several new components have been accepted into the incubator. These include Zend_Cache and enhancements to Zend_Mail and Zend_Mime.
We've also improved the manual. Thanks to the hard work of our documentation team (now with over twenty members!) we have several translations available for online viewing. Additional languages are under very active development.
To celebrate the release, we've overhauled the website with a fresh look thanks to the team at Varien, another Zend Framework partner company that's heavily invested in PHP and a strong believer in our effort.
The next release, slated for release in the first half of May, will include significant enhancements to Zend_Controller, along with upgrades and fixes for Zend_View. It will also include further incubator development and new components such as Zend_Config (configuration management).
