What's New - Features & Highlights:

Usability & Performance

  • New improved look and feel: A complete re-write of our User Interface yields faster and smoother UI response as well a significantly faster drag and drop system.
  • Dramatic performance improvements: Faster overall application performance of up to 30% on most major functions, including the loading and editing of projects and code.
  • Internal help: A new and more intuitive on-line help system that has been completely re-written for the 3.5 release.

Communication & Integration

  • SFTP, FTP - over - SSH and improved FTP: One of the most requested features from our users-we listened and we implemented. Allows a secure connection to the production server for secure and safe remote uploading.
  • CVS - Login and Diff viewer: Improved integration of Zend Studio with CVS.

Coding & Editing

  • PHP 5.0 support: Includes internal debugger, code analyzer and code completion, for full support of PHP 5.
  • Code templates: A new "must have" feature that improves editing capabilities, allowing the developer to use predefined or user common code, in a simple and quick manner.
  • Syntax highlighting - colors and font schemes: Use predefined schemes or add new schemes, for changing the background, fonts, tokens color and more.
  • HTML special chars - highlighting and code completion: All the HTML special chars (like  ) have beeen added to the code completion mechanism and can be color customized.

Debugging

  • Passive debugger: Improve debugging effectiveness by setting the Zend debugger to "passive mode" when initializing a debug session through the Zend IE Toolbar.
  • Secure debugger communication using SSL: Improved debugger capabilities through secure user communication with the Zend debugger.

Старожил PHPClubа
блин, уже как минимум пару раз пытался пересесть на Zend Studio, но всё как-то обламывалось: не хватает всяких разных мелочей, к которым уже так привык с EditPlus'ом.

но feature list -- довольно вкусный.
видать придётся ещё разок попробовать =)

linux версии нету пока вообще, а вообще действительно быстрее + особенно понравилось возможность юзать ssh (sftp), правда сразу огорчило отсутствие возможности авторизоваться по ключу, о чем я и написал господину Малышеву, глядишь и добавят.

Да, поработали отлично.
Довольно быстрый по сравнению с ранними версиями.
OS look & fell порадовал.
Профайлер, наконец-то, показал цифры которые сошлись ;)

Всё отлично но есть 2 "но".
1. При скроллинге файа отображение идёт волнами, что очень раздражет.
2. CVS-diff -> "Unable to launch the diff Viewer", хотя, судя по настройкам, обещается всякая красивость с цветами и прочим.

Если на второе можно забить, то первое очень смущает.

Что то с отображением замутили.
Иногда window area не отрисовываются заного, приходится
min/max делать..

Кстати, это решило и мою проблему.

когда они сделают нормальные настройки подсветки синтаксиса?
отображение шрифта, тем более жирного, _очень_ раздражает.

в "таком виде" работать не умею :)

ЗЫ сразу было удалено ;)

Это всё настраивается, 2 схемы по дефолту: обычная и а-ля vim.

смотрел, менял
на моем TFT все выглядит отвратительно

стоит Win XP Pro, ClearType врублен
везде этот Courier New, да и не только он, сглаживается
а в Zend... :(

А можно прямую ссылку на скачивание выложить сюда, а то регистрироваться так лень, так как уже около года качаю новые версии ZendStudio без всяких регистраций напрямую с http://downloads.zend.com/studio/

Но сейчас там не нашел beta 3.5

Заренее балгодарен.
